I tried Scrivener a couple years ago, but found it much less intuitive and helpful than Word for getting words down on paper auto-correct customization, custom dictionaries, read-aloud of my text, and strong integration with Dragon Dictate were all either missing or much weaker in Scrivener.
Apparently I'm in the minority: I use Word, OneNote, Dragon Dictate, and Excel.
